He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Schellenberg and Dorothy Roach (Burkholder); and his siblings, William Schellenberg, Charles Gillespie and Charlene Echols.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Schellenberg (Jessica) of Grainger, Steven McClay (Katherine) of Anna and Enian Phillips (Jonathan) of Piqua; his grandchildren, Alex, Nicholas, Anthony, Tyler, Spencer, Andrew, Samuel, Emma and Olivia; his sisters, Beth Dodovich of Akron, Jeannie Long of Covington and Pam Thomas (Mike) of Lima; and his sister-in-law Linda Gillespie.
