She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Dockery and Violet Dockery (Hardy); her husband Joseph R. Coate; her grandson Ronny Coate; and her great grandchildren, Parker Jutte and Elliot Jutte.
She is survived by: her sons, Randy Coate (Jackie) of Troy, OH and Richard Coate (Ronald Coate) of Piqua, OH; and her stepbrother Gary Winemiller. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
