With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Amelia D. Caserta-Gillis of Piqua, Ohio, who passed away on January 20, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Caserta and Nunziatina Caserta (Cipriano); her siblings, Anthony Caserta, Bert Caserta, Vincent Caserta, Thomas Caserta, Angelo Caserta, Charles Caserta, Joseph Caserta, William Caserta, Eleanor Johnston, Virginia Marsili and Rose Tyler; her grandson Jeremy Ray Kidder; and her son-in-law Danny Kidder.
She is survived by: her children, Alva Gillis of Las Vegas, NV, Charles Gillis (Rick Adams), Joseph Gillis of Piqua, OH, Mary Kidder of Brookville, OH, Deborah Stumpff of Piqua, OH and Therese Courtney (Paul Wharton, III) of Piqua, OH; and her sister-in-law Barbara Caserta of Piqua, OH. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and many cousins.
