It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Russell Oxender of Pioneer, Ohio, who passed away on September 12, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva J Oxender and Vera Oxender (Warner); his wife Roberta; his son John; his siblings, Leslie, Leo and Betty; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Oxender, Pat Oxender, Richard Beck, Leland Esterline and William Bauer.
He is survived by: his close friend Muriel Stevens; his daughters, Pam Hersha of Napoleon, Penny and Joan Provenzano (David) of Lewis Center; his daughter-in-law Patricia Oxender of Pioneer, Ohio.; his sisters, Donna Beck and Erma Bauer; and his sisters-in-law, Wilma Kuenning of Celina and Polly Oxender of Columbus.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, the family is asking that masks be worn at visitation and services.
Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association, Relay for Life, and the Melvin Jones Lions International Memorial, Inc.
