He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Walkup, and Mildred Walkup, Sr. (Cook); his former wife Thelma Walkup (Pollay); and his brother-in-law Robert Kidston. He is survived by: his wife Rachashael Walkup (Gates); his children, Rueben Walkup (Cherie) of Corvallis, Sally Paepke (Paul) of Edon and Edward Walkup (Michelle) of Montpelier; his grandchildren, Alyssa Snyder, Kim Walkup, Reed Walkup, Sam Walkup, Andrea Aquino, Brandon Belknap, Sanyja Paepke, Jo Paepke, Gunner Stump, Garrett Stump and Cecilia Paepke; and his siblings, Robert Walkup (Stacey) of Pioneer and Linda Kidston of Pioneer. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
