He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Bennett and Dorothy Bennett (Barr); his wife Mary A. Bennett (Coler); and his brother Richard Bennett. He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Logan (Chris Mack) of Defiance and Linda Short (Jerry) of Fayette; his grandchildren, Adam Logan (Stephanie), Amanda Fockler (Charles), Amy Waterston, Kyle Short (Mandy), Kurt Short and Kody Short (Harley); his great grandchildren, Asia, Nanci, Scarlett and Mercy; and his great great grandchildren, Avrin and Archer.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home (303 1st St, Pioneer, OH 43554). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Hillside Country Living Activity Fund or CHP Hospice.
