Thelma Jean Ford Penn Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thelma Jean Ford Penn of Piketon, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 22, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Ford and Mary Belle Davis Ford; her husband Benjamin Ira Penn; her siblings, Lewis Ford, Charles Ford, Harry Ford, Jr., Lafay Ford, Elsie Ford Hart and Maggie Ford Ackley; and her half-brother Herman Ford.
She is survived by: her children, Benny Penn (Pat) of Piketon, Barry Penn (Becky) of Piketon and Brenda Pfeifer (Doug) of Waverly; her grandchildren, Travis Pfeifer (Brittany) of Hillsboro, Matt Penn of Piketon, Bryan Pfeifer (Jessica) of Waverly, Dustin Pfeifer (Danielle) of Waverly, Kyle Penn (Nikki) of Piketon, McKenzie Swango (Aaron) of Piketon and Caleb Penn (Ali) of Waverly; her sister Ruby Ford Creech of Beavercreek; and her sister-in-law JoAnne Herman Ford of Waverly. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home (314 E North St, Waverly, OH 45690). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at the Bethel Cemetery.
