She is survived by: her children, Julie Pekkala (Bill) of Waverly and Mitch Higgins (Diane) of Piketon; her grandchildren, Troy Pekkala (Brittany), Trent Pekkala (Katie), Aaron Higgins (Kristina), Josh Higgins (Jacqueline), Rachel Herman and Drew Herman; her great grandchildren, Caydince Pekkala, Parker Higgins, Cambree Jean Pekkala, Cameron Higgins and Eleanor Jane Higgins; her siblings, Helen Roberts of Delaware, Ohio and Paul Dotson of Belfry, Kentucky; and her son-in-law Don Herman.
