She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Williams and Lillie Rebecca Mossbarger; her former husband Woodrow Smith; her husband Paul Scowden; her siblings, Etta Marie Wycoff, Anna Penn, Alla Burkitt, Glenna Williams, Nellie Lock, Gladys Preston, Jesse Williams, Calvin Williams and Delbert Williams; her stepson Paul Scowden; and her sons-in-law, Floyd Ballis and Don Montgomery.
She is survived by: her children, Kempton Smith (Joyce) of Piketon, Wilma Jean Ballis of Piketon, Ruth Ann Montgomery of Chillicothe and Robin Ramsey (Mark) of West Chester, Ohio; her stepdaughters, Nancy Herman (Carlos) of Vandalia and Brenda Williams (Wayne) of Piketon; and her stepchildren-in-law, Judy Scowden and James Leyes. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
