He was predeceased by: his father Elvin Eugene Groves; his son Michael Shane Groves; and his brother Stephen David Groves. He is survived by: his sons, William "Billy" Groves (Dawn) of Hillsboro and Christopher Cunningham of Kentucky; his grandson Logan Groves; his siblings, Leah Reynolds (Guy) of Otway, Patricia Hall (Mark) of Lucasville and Robert Groves (Beth) of McDermott; and his stepson Emanuel Kuhn (Nolen Cooper) of Lucasville. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
