With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Lee Bowman of Piketon, Ohio, born in Coal Grove, Ohio, who passed away on September 17, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Bowman and Margaret Bowman (Aurther); his former wife Margaret Mitchell Bowman; his wife Edith Brown Bowman; his son Bruce Bowman; his siblings, Thomas, Richard Bowman, Edna Snell, Linda Rosenbalm and Avanelle Bowman; and his son-in-law Ricky Akers.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Bowman, Jr. of Waverly, Robert Bowman (Chellie) of Jasper, Marie Akers of Ironton, Anita Colvin (Bill) of Ashville, Jeff Sheets (Michelle) of Waverly, Linda Courts of Texas, Diane Wilson of Augusta, Georgia and David Sheets of Groveland, Florida; and his siblings, Phillip Bowman of South Point, Bonnie Hill of Urbana and Betty Bartrum of Ironton, Ohio.. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren.
