It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Garrett Eugene Moore of Piketon, Ohio, born in Portsmouth, Ohio, who passed away on August 30, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Edwin Moore and Mary Ruth Moore; his wife Minnie Moore; his grandparents, Garrett, Nellie Leslie, William and Pearl Moore; his brothers, Ronald Moore and Donald Moore; his parents-in-law, Gussie and Blanche Holbrook; and his siblings-in-law, Kim Bryant Moore, Kathy Jean Holbrook, Brenda Sue Holbrook, George Roe and Butch Burchett.
He is survived by: his children, Joyce Poole (Andy) of Lake City, FL, Brenda Councillor (late Jim) of Piketon, Melissa Harmon (late David) of Piketon and Garrett Moore (Anita) of Wheelersburg; his sister Sylvia Munion of Sciotoville; his siblings-in-law, Alice Roe of Grayson, KY, Mary Burchett of South Webster, Jim Munion of Sciotoville and Samuel Holbrook of South Webster; his granddaughter Nicole Johnson (Jacob) of Lake City, FL; his sons, Greg Poole (Danielle) of Lake City, FL and David Harmon of Piketon; his granddaughter Heather Councillor (Dustin) of Portsmouth; and his children, Charity Slusher (Aaron) of Wheelersburg, Megan Councillor (Lucinda) of Portsmouth, Aja Councillor (Amanda) of Piketon, Joshua Harmon of Piketon and Baylee Moore (Kayleigh) of Wheelersburg. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
