It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Allen Akers (Piketon, Ohio), born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on March 30, 2020, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, John M. Akers Jr. and Mona Sue Akers (Shreck) of Piketon, Ohio.; his former wife Tonya Akers of Waverly; his sons, Tyler Akers of Piketon and Timothy Akers (Chasity) of Piketon; his granddaughter Leah Akers; and his siblings, Michael Akers (Jamie) of Waverly, Keven Akers of Piketon and April Scott (Curtis) of Lucasville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Boyer Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
