It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alta Hartsock of Piketon, Ohio, who passed away on June 13, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harlan Prater and Hettie Rigsby Prater; her husband Joe Abb Hartsock; and her sisters, Freda Prater, Phyllis Howard and Mildred Prater.
She is survived by: her children, Wanda Brenner of Waverly, Judy Foster (Karl) of Lucasville, Beaulah Louise Smith of Chillicothe, Kay Lee (Larry) of Ashville, Glenda Ward (Larry) of Gallipolis, Tom, Harry Hartsock (Beth) of Waverly, Gary Hartsock (Tonna) of Jasper and Janie Hardin (Frank) of Piketon; and her sister-in-law Mary Ruth Buck of Fairborn, Ohio.. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
