With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vera Laurie-Maginnis (Pierpont, Ohio), born in Ashtabula, Ohio, who passed away on October 17, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Babcock and Mary Babcock (Broughton); her former husband Tedrick Laurie; and her siblings, Dorothy Stasick and John Babcock.
She is survived by: her daughters, Coleen Herron (Gary) of Ashtabula, Pamela Sawyer (Rick) of North Olmsted and Patricia Gibson (John) of Cummings, GA.; her grandchildren, Shawn Herron (Enola), Kelley Katon (Michael), Nathan Gibson (Rachael), Jaclyn Fait (Christopher), Ginny Delycure (Lenny) and Kristin Scharte (Ben); and her brother Kenneth Babcock. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
