He was predeceased by: his parents, Kay B. Leonard and Dorrine Leonard (Tanner); his former wife Patricia Leonard (Farrell); his son Michael Leonard; his grandson Wyatt Leonard; his brother Jerry Leonard; and his father-in-law John A. Carr, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Leonard (Carr); his sons, Neil Leonard of Conneaut and Andrew Leonard of Pierpont; his grandchildren, Emily, Chase, Vannessa, Jack, Madalynn, Samantha, Aaron, Nevaeh, Eli and Osiris; his sisters, June Linder of Pierpont and Rose Mary Wiser of Pierpont; his stepdaughter Sara G. Bates; his stepgrandchildren, Julia, Lauren, Jackson, Maxwell and Cordelia; his mother-in-law Norma M. Carr; his close friends, Donnie Brain, Billy Weaver, Phil Dietrich and David Miller; and also Brad White. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
