He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald Holden and Jean Holden; his children, Cynthia Fichera (Michael) of Cornwall, NY, Debra Thompson (Maxwell) of Monrovia, Liberia and Glen Holden (Robin) of Pierpont; his brother Pat Holden of Pierpont; his brother-in-law Bill Brown (Louise) of Phoenix; his grandchildren, Alex Fichera, Giovanna Fichera, Andrew Holden, Olivia Holden, Jay Thompson Sara (Michelle), Lydia Nascimento (Everaldo), Ramah Provost (Kyle) and Marcelly Thompson; his great grandchildren, Jonathan, David, Ryder Thompson, Kairo, Kimberly, Karissa, Kenzy Nascimento, Caleb, Micah and Aria Provost; his wife Janice Holden; and his son Lee David. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Pierpont Presbyterian Church, Pierpont Scholarship Fund, and Phebe Grey Orphanage (Church of God World Missions).
