He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Myrick and William Smith; and his brother Kwane Smith. He is survived by: his wife Julie; his sisters, Debbie Harris (Charles), Dana Aekins (Ronald), Tina Commodore (Craig), Kenyan Smith (Catrice) and Timolyn Smith; his children, LaRue Smith, David Smith, William Smith, Brandon Smith, Brianna Smith, Brittany Smith and Mya Perkins; and his close friends, John Ellis and Malik Riley. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (1185 Noe Bixby Rd, Columbus, OH 43213). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
