He is survived by: his wife Nikki; his daughter Melissa Bates (Adrian); his grandchildren, Madelyn and Cyrus; his siblings, Michael Zapf, Susan Zapf, Richard Zapf and Cynthia Lofaro (Joe); and his sister-in-law Nancy Dodd. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
