He is survived by: his wife Dixie Takos (Hinton); his children, Amy Knapp (Takos) and Andy Takos; his grandchildren, Lynna (Knapp), Buck (Alex Buck), Lindsay Knapp (Andrea Carson) and Tanner Kish; his great grandchild Taytum Buck; and his sister Vicki (Takos) Wentzel (Jack Wentzel).
