She was predeceased by: her mother Maria Rodriguez. She is survived by: her husband Larry Thompson; and her children, Kenneth Howle (Patti), Patricia Thackston (Larry), Cheryl Howle and Lisa Howle. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to the Alzheimer's Association (http://www.alz.org) in her memory.
