She was predeceased by: her parents, William Carver and Hazel Carver (Goodman); and her husband Gary. She is survived by: her children, Dawn M. King (Christopher) and Eric W. Swanson; her grandchildren, Rhiannon and Vincent; her brother William M. Carver III; and her nephew William M. Carver IV (Melissa).

Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Stefanie Spielman Research Fund c/o James Cancer Hospital, 460 W. 10th Ave., Columbus, OH 43210.
