He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Welling and Josephine Welling; and his brother-in-law Morris Sparks. He is survived by: his wife Angie Welling; his sons, Patrick Welling (Kim), Michael Welling Jr. (Erin) and Mark Welling (Phaedra); his grandchildren, Jessica Richardson (Justin), Ashley Copley (Jonathan), Sarah Bartoe (Will), Kyla Welling, Addison Welling, Wesley Welling, Makenzie Johnson and AJ; his sister Mary Sparks; and his great grandchild Linn Richardson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home - Pickerington (550 Hill Rd N, Pickerington, OH 43147). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish (600 Hill Rd N, Pickerington, OH 43147).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Capital City Hospice or a charity of one's choice.
