He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie Carpenter (Miller) and S. Army; and his siblings, Harold Carpenter (Mary Helen), Waldo Carpenter (Mary), Lindsay Carpenter and Jean Jankowski.
He is survived by: his wife Wallie Carpenter; his daughters, Dawn Carpenter and Lila Andersen (Kasper); his siblings, Freeda Case (Jim), Zella White and Cliff Carpenter (Kay); and his siblings-in-law, Carl Jankowski and Kay Carpenter. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
