He was predeceased by: his parents, John Owen James, Sr. and Lucretia James. He is survived by: his sons, Scott James (Elissa), Jeff James (Leah) and Stephen James (Amanda); his sister Sally Gregg; and his grandchildren, Noah, Aubrey, Mason, Skylar, Taylor and Matilda.
