He was predeceased by: his parents, John Solomon and Anna Viola Bockey (Van Sant); and his sisters, Ruth, Helen, Norma and Billie Bockey.
He is survived by: his wife Carole Gleason Bockey; his daughter Mary Stratemeyer (Bill); his stepdaughters, Kristen Bond (Hobie) and Cynthia Reynolds (Will Griffith); his grandchildren, Nikki Stratemeyer, Rachel Botella (Christian), Ben Bond (Rachel), David Bond and Rachel Bond; and his great grandchildren, Gabriel, Alex, Adrian Botella, Archer and Maverick Stratemeyer.
