She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Cockett and Gladys Cockett (Peters). She is survived by: her siblings, Kathy Palmer (David) of Cincinnati, OH, Bill Cockett (Sharon Stafford) of Boone, NC and Art Cockett (Cyndi) of Lisbon, CT; her nieces, Molly and Alison; her nephew Christopher Palmer (Kyra); and her great-niece Layla Palmer.

Due to COVID, a memorial service will be held in Sewanee at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to: Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Columbus Chapter Att.
