He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Spitzer and Goldie Spitzer; and his cousin Donna Gene Mauger (Milligan). He is survived by: his wife Vera; his children, Cheryl Mauger of Baltimore, Tim Spitzer of Pickerington and Mark Spitzer (Lisa) of Chapel Hill; his grandchildren, Derrick Mauger (Ashley), Julie Mauger, Nicole Stuart (Mark) and Elizabeth Holmes (Charles); and his nephew Michael Huey (Lisa). He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
