He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Marie; his children, Derek Dearmin (Nyanja) and Courtney Dobson (Brandon); his siblings, Samuel Dearmin and Lucy Brodnax; and his aunts, Mary Morris-Gibbons, Bernice Collins (Donald), Evelyn Turner and Dorothy Collins. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
