He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy George Shepard and Lucy Ellen Williams (Blake); his son Mark Shepard; and his brother Gene Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Doloris Shepard; his children, David Shepard (Laurie) of Foley, AL, Mary Ellen Kahraman (Ahmet) and Paul Shepard; his daughter-in-law Brenda Shepard; his grandchildren, Amanda Harper (James), Kristyn Currey (Chad), Matthew Shepard, Peri Kahraman and Emre Kahraman; his great grandchildren, Amelia, Emmett, Caleb and Emmalyn; his sister-in-law Jenny Taylor; his siblings, Estraleta Sumner (Tony), Bruce Shepard (Dee) and Lynn Kelly (Bob); and his brother-in-law Don Christensen (Karol). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
