He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Ety and Ruth Ety, Sr.; and his parents-in-law, Bruce and Bea Orr. He is survived by: his wife Becky Ety; his children, Betsy Alton (Rob) of Hilliard, Ohio and Andy Ety (Mindy) of Baltimore, Ohio; his grandchildren, Rachel Alton, Alison Ety and Austin Ety; his siblings, Vera Kellner (Mike) of Baltimore, Ohio and Russ Ety, Jr. (Sue) of Newark, Ohio; his siblings-in-law, Emilie and Carl Hickman; and his nieces and nephews, Greg Hickman (Amy), Jeff Hickman, Kendra Vessey and Keri Culliver. He is also survived by other aunts, uncles and cousins.
