He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Hughes and Myrtle Hughes (Hutsell); and his siblings, Verna Lee Shuler, Betty J. Hearon, Jimmy F. Hughes, Allen T. Hughes and Kathy H. Edmonds.
He is survived by: his wife Aurora Hughes (Buno); his children, Jesse Hughes (Sheryl) and Miriam Hughes; his grandchildren, Analynn and Emilee; and his sisters, Ruby White and Doris McKenzie.
