He was predeceased by: his parents, Crummel Carl and Mabel Smith (Sparks); and his sister Doris. He is survived by: his wife Emma Louise "Lou" Smith (Garber); his children, Kirk Smith, Heidi Eveleigh (Dave) and Trent Smith (Julie); his grandchildren, Travis (Emily), Elizabeth (Bryce), Michael, Trevor and Brendan; and his great grandchildren, Oliver and Lily.
