It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harland R Scott (Pickerington, Ohio), born in Wooster, Ohio, who passed away on December 22, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Balmer Scott and Helen Scott (Gatick); and his wife Edith A. Scott. He is survived by: his significant other Kay Easton; his daughters, Cathy Fosnaught (Michael), Lori Barbee (Tom) and Betsy Bradley (Joe); and his grandchildren, Matthew Salverson (Kelly), Rachel Drone (Mike), Sam Fosnaught (Alycia), Jacob Fosnaught (Sarah), Emily Toms (Andy), Jacob Hooker (Kate Schroeder) and Zachary Hooker (Elisha). He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.

He was a devoted family man who worked hard at his job and at home where he helped create a lovely, welcoming place for his family. Scotty had a great sense of humor and was quick to provide laughter. He enjoyed being in his home, sitting by the fire or grilling outside. He was a loving, caring husband and proud father. I'm so happy that he and Kay became a couple after losing their spouses. God bless!”
