It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald August Dirksen (Pickerington, Ohio), who passed away on March 14, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Linus Dirksen and Amelia Dirksen (Ahrens); and his siblings, Richard Dirksen, Mary Peterman (Roman) and Bertha Dirksen.
He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Piekenbrock (Dennis), Stacy Johns (Jason) and Amy Kingera (Joel); his grandchildren, Emily, Erin, Jenna Piekenbrock and Dirksen Kingera; his sister Martha Niccum (Charles); and his sister-in-law Margie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
