He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Bennett and Julie Bennett; his siblings, Clarence Bennett (Madeline) and Kay Heaton (James); his grandchildren, Jacob, Kaylee and Kaitlynn Bennett; and his brother-in-law James Brand.
He is survived by: his wife Frances; his children, Sandra Milligan (Casey) and Jeffrey Bennett (Lori); his grandchildren, Erin Bradbury (Dustin), Alicia Leitwein (Jake) and Ashley Milligan; his great grandchildren, Kayson Milligan, Adrienn, Raelynn Leitwein, Nathan, Logan and Kristen Bradbury; and his sister Phyliss Brand. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
