She was predeceased by: her parents, Madeira Crispin and Bernice Crispin; her former husband James Butts; her brother Robin Crispin; and her siblings-in-law, Nancy Crispin and Ronald Hay.
She is survived by: her husband David Fortner Jr.; her children, Madeira Turner (Butts) and Jason Butts (Heather); her stepdaughters, Sharon McAllister (Glenn), Diana Orum (Jack), Rachele Schroyer (Robert) and Alesia Kurgan (John); and her siblings, Sherry Hay and Major Crispin (Carolyn). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Epiphany Lutheran Church (268 Hill Rd N, Pickerington, OH 43147). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A procession was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lithopolis Cemetery (4365 Cedar Hill Rd NW, Lithopolis, OH 43136).
