She was predeceased by: her parents, Graydon Earl and Madeline Margaret Snyder (Stickdorn); and her husband Dennis H. Murray. She is survived by: her children, Denise Murray Sicking and Douglas Murray; and her grandchildren, J. Zachary Sicking, Karisa Murray and Kayla Murray.

In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to their local food bank in Carolyn's memory.
