He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Acker, Jr. and Dorothy Acker (Stout); and his sisters, Kathy Acker and Karla Lindsey (Acker). He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Acker (Alzner); his son Bryan Acker of Columbus, Ohio; his siblings, Chris Acker (Nicki), Paul Acker, Tony Acker (Christine), Jeffery Acker (June), Rick Acker (Jackie), Larry Acker (Kim), Eric Acker (Betty), Philip Acker and Sherri Graves (Jerry); his godchildren, Bryan Black Sylvester and Conor Black; his niece Mary; his brother Johnny Alzner (Patty) of Pickerington, Ohio.; and also Sondra Henderson (George).
