He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark L. Merew and Lois Merew (Wilson); and his wife Shirlee A. Merew. He is survived by: his son Matthew Merew (Aimee); his granddaughters, Olivia Garcia (Alex) and Samantha Merew; and his brother Milton Merew. He is also survived by his niece and nephews.
