The memory of Karolyn Marie Martin-Brown of Philo, Ohio, born in Zanesville, Ohio, who passed away on June 14, 2024 at the age of 65, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by : her parents, Michael Emerson Martin Sr. (Starlett) and Merle Louise Kassell-Murray (Carl); her siblings, Verna Sue Valentine, Stephen D. Martin (Lainie), Teresa J. Martin, Kimberly J. Wakely and Gordon K. Martin; her niece Natalie Jane Martin; and her close friend Lillie "Dixie" Boyd.

She is survived by : her husband Curtis J. Brown; her children, Michelle Martin-Berry (Mike O'Neal) and Loren Ralph (Bobby); her stepchildren, Paul Brown (Stephanie) and Molly Mullen (Matt); her grandchildren, Lakyn Walter, Tim Berry Jr., McKenzie Harmon, Wyatt Brown, Luke Brown, Tanner Mullen and Parker Mullen; her great grandchildren, Zai'Raha, Zai'Rayah, Ka'leigha and Ai'yden; her brothers, Michael E. Martin Jr., Harvey B. Martin (Shannon), Clay A. Martin and Jesse I. Martin (Megan); and her stepmother Starlett A. Martin (Dudley Meadows). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, June 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Pennsville United Methodist Church (1710 Washington St, Stockport, OH 43787). A graveside service was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Duncan Falls Cemetery (191 Harlan Dr, Duncan Falls, OH 43734).
