He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Staley and Bertie Staley (Reed); his former wife Carol Staley; his son William "Bill" Staley; and his son-in-law Phil Abella.
He is survived by: his wife Vicky Staley (Larimer); his children, Debbie Abella, Patrick Staley, Jenny Walters (Reid), Kevin Bunting (Sherri) and Kim Payne; his daughter-in-law Martha Staley; his siblings, Joe Staley (Anita) and Mary Lou Knolton; and his close friend Mike Thomas. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
