She was predeceased by: her parents, Alston Newman and Alberta Newman (Kennedy); her husband Dayle E. Gibson; her sons-in-law, Ken Dewart and Kevin Harter; and her siblings, Meredith, Alfred, Harley, Alston Jr., Norman, Fred, Eunice Dalton and Macel Croston.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Smith (Ron), Dale Mae Gibson, Carl Gibson (Diane) and Pennie Dewart; her grandchildren, Connie Murphy (Pat), Melissa Kaye Atkinson (Nick), Ashley Cain, Tasci Gibson, Josci Harter, Amanda Riehl, Kyle Gibson, Sarah Tysinger (Timmy), Christina Foster (Mike), Michaela Creed (Wes), Jacob Dewart and Tyler Dewart; her siblings, Donald Newman, Robert Newman, Gary Newman, Goldie Newman, Thomas Newman (Sharon), Naomi Mayle, Delores Butler and Nancy Hovatter; and her close friends, Steve and Libby Payton. She is also survived by 24 great grandchildren.
