He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Hamler and Vera Hamler (Edgell); his wife Barbara Cheek-Wilson Hamler; and his siblings, Franklin Hamler, Delano Hamler and Patricia "Patty".
He is survived by: his children, Karen Groves (Lee), Daniel Wilson (Holly) and Mark Wilson; his grandchildren, Samantha, David, Stephanie, Jessica, Nathan, Courtney and Ariel; and his niece Angie. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
