She was predeceased by: her son Shawn Joseph McDonley; her granddaughter Jessica Rose Steffe; and her parents, Ulysses S. Grant and Eva Ruby Walters (Stanley). She is survived by: her husband John Alfred McDonley; her daughters, Sharon McDonley, Sandra Layne (Sean), Sonya Rodeffer (Pless Derrick) and Sherry McDonley (Marqui Knight); her grandchildren, Michael McDonley (Briana Swearingen), Savannah Layne, Samantha Layne, Kristen Young, Randy Vanevery, Kayla Young, David Vanevery, Adam McDonley, Alyssa Young and Amanda Young; and her great grandchildren, Brynne, Madison, Riley, Jackson, Hailey, Madelyn, Avery, Aubrey, Kohen and Kayden. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
