It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Johnson of Phillipsburg, Ohio, born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on May 25, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Peters and Edna Peters (Grigelis); and her siblings, Arthur L. Peters, Sr. and Anna L. Bledsoe. She is survived by: her husband Gilbert L. Johnson; her daughters, Cynthia Cooper (Michael) of Cincinnati and Melinda Weaver of Noblesville; her grandchildren, Natalie G. Cooper, Allison G. Cooper, Kayla M. Weaver, Marlena G. Cooper and Kyle N. Weaver; and her siblings, Melissa Wilson, Charles Peters, Roy Peters (Jonakaye) and Michelle Browning. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the family requests that everyone follow the social distancing guidelines.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Hospice of Dayton in memory of Alice.

“I was Alice"s hairdresser for about 25 yrs and every visit was a joy..She always made me a 9×13 pan of her famous peanut butter, pudding,Graham cracker dessert,spoon yummy and her fudge was to die for !!! A loving and devoted person who was so extremely proud of her family. She left a Mark on my soul and now her fudge will be " heavenly " too 😇”
