He was predeceased by: his sisters, Melva Short (Doyle), Betty Liechty (Cliff) and Janice Rupp; and his brother-in-law Merrill Nofziger. He is survived by: his children, Philip Rupp (Kristen) of Pettisville, Barry Rupp (Holly) of Paulding, Sheri Fry (Darin) and Natalie King (Phillip); his grandchildren, Rachel, Jeremiah, Lynae, Jacob, Claire (Tyler), Evan, Owen, Carson and Ryan; and his siblings, Lowell "Sie" Rupp (Jueldine) of Archbold, Bernice Hartzell (Ward) of Twisp, WA, Marcile Nofziger of Archbold and Margaret Smeltzer (Carl) of Harrisonburg, VA.. He is also survived by the youngest of seven siblings.
The family requests that memorials be given to the Tedrow Mennonite Church, Youth For Christ of Defiance, or the Traumatic Brain Injury Resource Center of Toledo.
