He was predeceased by: his parents, Judith Flickinger and Stanley Strickling; and his grandparents, Virgil, Helen Flickinger, Warren and Evelyn Strickling.
He is survived by: his wife Angie Manion Strickling; his children, Hannah Strickling and Eric Strickling; his stepson Owen Shade; his grandson Gunnar; his sister Angie Smith-Dail (Alan) of Wooster; and his stepsiblings, Laurie Myers (Buck) of Mansfield and Heath Jessop of Daytona. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
