He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Hinkle and Hulda Castle Hinkle; and his siblings, Jack Hinkle, Charlie Hinkle and Ferba Castle.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo Scarberry Hinkle; and his children, Gary Hinkle (Shirley Reed) of Findlay, Larry Hinkle (Brenda) of Loudonville, David Hinkle (Ronda) of Polk and Betty Jean Slone of Nippa, KY. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
