He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Matthew Dowling and Ursula "Connie" Dowling; his wife Brenda Pearson Dowling; his sons, Dr. Ashley Dowling (Annie), Bennett and Colin Dowling; his grandchildren, Pearson, Calder and Drayton Dowling; his siblings, Dr. Patrick Dowling (Anne), Matthew Dowling (Carla), Joan Lewis (Rik) and Susan Beasecker (Jeff); his brother-in-law Marvin Pearson (Vicki); and his great-niece Annabelle Beasecker. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
